An Indigenous chief reached out to the local pastor that we work with and said, "Many missionaries have come to our village before, but you are the first ones who have actually fulfilled your promises. Now, we all believe in what you have told us. Please help us get baptized and build a church for our village."

At Revival Starts With Me, our mission is not just to bring the gospel to these communities, but to ignite lasting change that empowers generations. Our goal is to ensure that every indigenous community we serve has a healthy church, access to clean drinking water, and flourishing community gardens. We are passionate about providing comprehensive support that includes literacy classes, occupational training, and educational programs for men, women, and children.

We believe in the power of community and the importance of sustainable development. Our heart is to see lives transformed, both spiritually and physically, ensuring that the impact of our efforts resonates for generations to come. Join us in this exciting journey of bringing hope, growth, and transformation to indigenous communities around Paraguay. Together, we can make a lasting difference!

THEY REJECTED THE GOSPEL

We arrived to an unexpected welcome: the local tribe told Tanner and our pastor they did not want preaching or outside help. They were proud, independent, and clear — “We don’t need you.” Instead of arguing, we offered something practical: to drill a well with our new equipment.

As our team drilled the first well, the village chief stayed nearby and began to talk with our local pastor. Time and a single act of service opened a door. Their conversation turned to trust; trust grew into permission to share the gospel.

One evening we held a gospel presentation. Many people came. Hearts opened. Several people accepted Jesus. Miracles and joy followed. We presented the community with a generator so the well could run reliably, and now families have clean drinking water whenever they need it.

But more than water came that day — they received the Living Water. Hallelujah. The chief and community asked for a church, and we’ve already begun discipleship with a community leader to help that request grow into a lasting, local movement.

Priceless Partnerships

We couldn’t have done this alone. Commission Mankind has been essential in turning our vision into reality — their friendship, dedication, and generosity have made this journey possible, and we are deeply grateful for their support.

Three children play pretend in a large cooking pot outdoors, with one holding a wooden spoon and the other two peek over the edge of the pot, surrounded by trees and a brick wall.

Thanks to faithful donors, hundreds of people have eaten meals cooked in this very pot. Sharing a meal together is such a beautiful moment, and is so important!!

Thanks to The Mission Church and Partners, this community has a Church, and another has a generator to operate their well!

Thanks to several private donors, we completed the well drilling rig! Now we are able to go into the most desperate of communities and bring them LIVING WATER. “Love looks like something.. to them, it looks like water.”
We have now seen clean water open the door for the gospel to come in time after time. This rig will continue to be a door for many souls to enter the kingdom of God.
